Ethical horse riding is understanding the basic needs of the horse and listening to what is being communicated.

You will not find a skinny horse here! With 15 years professional horse nutritionist experience, the feeding knowledge of rescue horses is second to none. All horses have their individual feeding program to keep them healthy and happy

We do not ride in the heat of the day. We are the only tour company to ride our horses once a day, early before the heat. We will never over work the horses no matter how much business is requested

Our horses do not live enclosed in stables. It is paramount in understanding horse behaviour, well-being and state of mind that they require a herd environment, outside. Horses are extremely sociable and locking them up 24/7 is a huge no no.

Natural is better! No bits in the mouth, no shoes on the hooves and well fitted equipment. Keeping the horses in their most natural state often requires more training and care but the horses are happier for it.

Expert re-training. Our rescue horses are carefully rehabilitated and assessed over months, re-trained carefully with "Horse Speak" and asked if they are willing to work together. A safe horse is a happy horse

For the welfare of our horses we can only accept people weighing up to 100kg (220 lbs). If you are heavier, please consider a horse experience instead.

CHECK that the horses are not skinny, have access to water, look happy and relaxed and are treated well by the handlers.
If you are not sure, DO NOT RIDE the horses and explain why.
